Advanced Virus & Trojan Removal

    Carefully follow these steps

    Download Now

    Step 1
    Click on the red button above

    Keep clicking the red button until the download starts. You may need to click it several times.

    Step 2
    Download and save the .exe file to your desktop

    After you have clicked the red button, download and save the .exe file to your desktop. Do not run the file directly from the browser, make sure that you save it to your desktop first!

    Step 3
    Rename the file to iexplore.exe before opening it

    Once the .exe file is saved to your desktop you need to rename it to iexplore.exe. Rename the file by right-clicking on it, select rename, name it iexplore.exe and hit enter.

    Step 4
    Install and begin the free scan

    After you have renamed the file to iexplore.exe, open the file, install PC Tools Internet Security 2011 and begin the free trojan virus scan.

    Finding the web browser

    Sometimes with virus and trojan infections your desktop links as well as links in the start menu are removed. This makes it somewhat impossible to find your internet browser. However, Internet Explorer is still on your computer. You just need to open it manually.

    Step 1
    Open Internet Explorer

    Windows 7: Click Start. Type ‘iexplore’ into the search field and click enter.

    Windows Vista: Click Start. Type ‘iexplore’ into the search field and click enter.

    Windows XP: Click Start. Click ‘Run’. Type ‘iexplore’ into the open field and click OK.

    Step 2
    Browse to our website

    With internet explorer open, type www.antivirushelpcenter.com into the navigation bar and click enter.


    Step 3
    Visit the Removal Page

    On the navigation menu you will see the link to the Installation Guide Page. Click there and follow the instructions to install PC Tools Internet Security 2011.

    Accessing the internet

    Even if you can find your internet browser and open it, sometimes the internet is simply offline. However, 95% of the time the internet is still available but the virus will prevent you from accessing it.

    Step 1
    Restart your computer

    Go ahead and reboot your computer from Windows or turn it on if you have it turned off.

    Step 2
    During the reboot press the F8 key repeatedly

    Right as the computer begins the reboot you must press F8 repeatedly. This will allow you to access the Advanced Options Menu.

    Step 3
    Select Safe Mode with Networking

    Once you are in the Advanced Options Menu, use your arrow keys and select the Safe Mode with Networking option. Press enter when you have selected it.



    Step 4
    Windows will boot into safe mode

    Windows will now boot into Safe Mode with Networking. It is a low resource version of Windows that sometimes allows you to perform simple tasks that the virus would not allow when Windows is in normal mode.

    Step 5
    Try accessing the internet

    Now that you have rebooted your computer into Safe Mode with Networking, try accessing the internet. If you need to find your browser, refer to the Find Your Browser section.

    Step 6
    Browse to our website

    With internet explorer open, type www.antivirushelpcenter.com into the navigation bar and click enter.


    Step 7
    Visit the Removal Page

    On the navigation menu you will see the link to the Installation Guide Page. Click there and follow the instructions to install PC Tools Internet Security 2011.

    Saving the .exe file

    Step 1
    Download the virus removal program

    Download Now

    Step 2
    Do not press run

    Do not press Run. You are going to save the file to your desktop.

    Step 3
    Save to your desktop

    In the dialog box, browse to your desktop and click save. Sometimes you have to click download many times and save many times until it eventually works.

    Step 4
    Open the .exe from the desktop

    After saving the file to your desktop, go ahead and open the .exe installation file.

    Step 5
    Install The Virus Removal Program

    Open the virus removal installer and install PC Tools Internet Security 2011. Perform all of the scans and updates. This should get rid of the trojan virus infections on your computer.

    Opening the .exe file

    Step 1
    Download the .exe installation file.

    Download Now

    Step 2
    Open the .exe file

    Double-click on the .exe installation file and try to get it to open.

    Step 3
    Retry if it doesn’t open

    If the .exe installation file will not open the first time, rename the .exe to ‘iexplore.exe‘ and then try to open it.

    Step 4
    Reboot into safe mode if necessary

    If you have tried opening it many times, boot into safe mode and then try opening the .exe installation file. Refer to the Start Windows in Safe Mode section.

    Step 5
    Install The Virus Removal Program

    Open the PC Tools Internet Security 2011 installer and install the program. Perform all of the scans and updates. This should get rid of the trojan virus infections on your computer.
